carelgrundlingh Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I am looking into upgrading my SLX brakes to XT. Will my SLX rotors (SM-RT66-S) work fine on XT (M785-B)??? Thanks in advance for the advice!
Rocket-Boy Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I have used shimano brakes with avid rotors and vice versa, they work just fine.Might have a bit of a squeal sometimes but they work. Using shimano brakes with shimano rotors will work.
WrightJnr Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I've used XT Calipers with Avid and Formula Rotors. No problems. Same size rotors I hope. If different add/remove adapters.
