Looking for road bike group in Tokai/Bergvliet/Constantia/Meadowridge

Bike Plus in Constantia has group rides. Go to the shop and introduce yourself. Cyclelab in Tokai same. My training day etc.

 

Also don't refer to your average speed when asking about a ride. It marks you as either a newbie or a triathlete. You could ask it it's a social group or a fast paced ride.

Also refrain from making posts along these lines when giving advice. It marks you either as elitist or a chop.

Most people asking about rides on here give an idea of their average pace as an indication to see if they would fit in a group.

Do as many test rides as you want.  Distances are 80+, some guys will do shorter or longer.  This time of the year the rides tend to go a tad longer.  Chat to any one of the guys on the ride.

I'm from the Steenberg area and would like to join. I am a beginner, although I have cycled in my teen years. 20 years later and craving for the sport I now have bought me a road bike. Lemme know if you guys have patience for beginners, lol. Mario
