Wheelsuck Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Was the first time in a couple of years that I did the race and forgot what a tough run it was.Well organised and a nice day out. Had a good Swim and Bike, died on the run. Thought the run would be a 2 lapper but realised at 9km it was going to be a 1 lapper or maybe I didnt listen at the race briefing . Managed a 3h38 for the Full. Goody bag was great-with all the usual crap being replaced by a technical T, was hoping for those visors, as I forgot mine and needed it in the heat. Is a wortwhile replacememt instead of IMBC.

It was the case for both the full and the lite. In general triathlon races are expensive (at least for me), but at R600, Xterra is value for money in comparison to other triathlon races and a costs effective alternative. Route markings and water points were excellent. Nice vibe at the finish. Great event. They should organise more events up north!!
