Hi All,

Can anyone suggest a decent MTB loop from the Broadacres / Craigavon area.

Would like to get about 50km out of it if possible?

Thanks

There are lots of routes.

Most guys park at the Europa and area and ride out of the back from Virgin Active down in to Chartwell. THen the routes really open up and go all over the place - you could easily catch a bunch that is leaving and tag along with them on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Also look at Strava and Garmin Connect for routes.

Or look on Google Maps.

Main routes climb up 3rd road in Chartwell and then branch from there - you can easily follow some of the paths. Some head towards Northern Farm along the Jukskei and then up to Northern Farm - depending on how much you do in there you can do 40 to 50 kms total once you come back to Broadacres.

Or others go under the N14 and then head out towards the cradle - so many different variations there as well.

Rather hook up with some guys as some pieces of the rides can go very close to the lion park squatter camp - and that could always result in tears.

Other routes cross over N 14 and head towards the bottom of Lanseria and Monaghan farm area.

As I said - Strava and Garmin Connect are your friends.
