Hahaha again with the Department of Tourism... Maybe I should apply ;)

It's called Grass Roof Cafe, out in the Sardinia Bay area - https://goo.gl/maps/pviJ628mQyG2

Try their pancakes with bacon & maple syrup - your tastebuds will thank you!

Thank you, will definitely stop there next time.... If you keep this up you might just qualify for a review royalty from them...

Always nice to discover new places and even better when they are supportive of cyclist.

Start a food/restaurant review site with a section on cycling friendly places along with the best things on the menu ;)

Is there no end to your genius?? ;)

I legitimately would love to do that!

It's definitely well worth a visit. We go there often for breakfast/lunch, and they often have live music on the weekends as well. Plus an awesome shop as well where they sell the greatest little jams, and sauces, and organic stuff and and and - the list goes on!

Give me a shout if you're in the market for a tour guide next time you're down - there are so many wonderful little places in PE that people miss out on! (I also love breakfast... #justsaying) ;)

*Disclaimer - all tour guides may be used as reference under the "Experience" section of my CV in application to the Department of Tourism

Cape Town will give PE a good run for it's cash in that department. Just saying...

When you asked how to retrieve and replace the bottle without falling over we might have had to ask what was IN the bottle.... Maybe the water in PE has a much higher pH value....

Ok ok fine, I admit, I was in a rush this morning so I thought I'd have a breakfast Guinness while I rode to save some time! [emoji23]

Pm me if you do. Happy to show you around and accompany you on some rides and I know some rad places for breakfast & coffee and lunch that serves really good Craft Beer.

Provided I am in Cape Town and not away working.

Okay Lexie, now that you are back on the saddle, I challenge you to enter for next year's Cape Town Cycle Tour (previously known as the Cape Argus).

You have ample time to get comfortable on the bike, and to get some fitness going. You will not be sorry, as it is a jol to ride and the scenery can simply not be improved on.

There are plenty events to get fitness in for that...Tour of Durban, Amashova, 947... ;)
