1. Shave your legs

2. Wear a skinsuit

3. Tuck in aero on the straights

4. Take a shortcut (but don't get caught)

5. Hang on to the trees and slingshot around the corners

6. Ride like a Ninja

If the course can stay dry for two days after all this rain, you are in with a shout

GOOD LUCK

I can try my best Tarzan impression - unfortunately I don't think a loin-cloth is very aero. WHAHAHAHAHA! although I am sure some of the guys are successfully executing these moves.

Looking back at our Garmin times when the track was 11.5km or so...we were klapping it in 44min!

Less than an hour on the new course is a pretty good stuff!

I need to get back into doing the loop again! A great workout if you push hard.

How is the course handling the rain at the moment?

Anything under 55min is Nino Schurter stuff - the trail is up to 16.2km now with many more 'dodgy' sections (Technical for the uninformed)

Traditionally, the trail dries exceptionally well. If you happen to ride straight after (or during) a really good downpour, a few sections become 'interesting', especially the corners.

There are a few dips that are intermittently under water, but are generally easy to skirt if this is the case.

As always, treat the root sections with extreme caution, especially if not riding them square.

Come along for a spin sometime, you will be surprised at how good things are looking.

Have fun - enjoy  :)
