Droo hit the nail on the head ben, it sort of becomes "lomp" in the middle. Its a weird sensation, so you add a bit more air and then the first part of the suspension stroke is harsh and defies the point of having all that travel, then you remove lots but blast through your travel. Now if you light, you will feel it less. But if you are two toilet visits behind schedule(85-100kg range I guess) you can feel it.

So all that these spacers and tokens do is make the ramp curve a bit steeper at the end, so you still have lekker butter for small *** but when you hit bigger stuff its still sparks at the end

there is my take on it

Mos def helps for us heftier types...

Running the dual position and did the Solo Air token mod to install on the DP.

EDIT: I also run my fork in full open 99% of the time only using the pedal or lock position on climbs very rarely...

110kg's all kitted, currently running 1 token with 115-120psi and feels great - Still possibly going to play a little more with the PSI (Maaaaybe 5-10psi more) but I have been very happy so haven't needed to fiddle too much more.

I was running two at first with around 110-115psi and while it felt supportive on top like I wanted, I did notice straight away that it didn't feel as buttery all the way through the stroke due to the faster ramp up and it was really hard to get to use all my suspension on my biggest hits.

I realize that's the point of the tokens, so it ramps up quicker and harder at the top end but it was a bit too harsh and personally I like a smoother stroke (That's what she said) all the way through my travel as much as possible. So I decided to drop one token and pump the PSI slightly and this has given me the supportive and buttery feel I was after. Soaks up the small choppy stuff and no mad diving when hard on the brakes. Poppy on the jumps and ramps up nicely on the heavier landings.

I have one of the smaller grey tokens too, slightly smaller to fine tune even more.

Let me know if you want it

Hi Rouxtjie,

Thanks a mil for the offer. I didn't actually know there was a slightly smaller version. I reckon I'm happy with just the one though so maybe someone else can get better use out of it. Again, much appreciate the offer

no probs...I know the red and grey will fit pike forks...The big black ones won't.
