attempted the ride or attempted to get an entry. ...?

Question of the day: Has any Hubber attempted this 160km ride in the past?

if so, would it be kind enough to share hints & logistics plans for this event ?

Correction on my part, it's any hubbers who has completed this ride in the past.

I can only say it is really difficult to get an entry - otherwise it's just a 160km ride (having only tried to get an entry unsucessfully I can''t comment on the ride bit)

Hope you can get an race-entry for the forthcoming year.

There are other Gran-Fondo race that are even harder to gain an entry (Maratona is another one which has an entry-cap of 8000 people)

I will have to see if I can get more pink tickets post Epic... and W2w will be top of the list - I suspect hubber jmaccelari might have a ticket - but he is now London based - so pretty easy for him.

My wife and I have done it, but then we have bikes in London. Plan to cycle to the start and back from the finish. There are parking areas, but the tickets sell very quickly and they are nearer the start than the end.

If you go through one of the tour group companies, you should be able to get an international entry.

Oh yes, don't expect a goody bag ;-). PM me if you want any more info.
