  1. Long shot, but I saw these being sold at a stall at the 2019 Satellite Classic. Maybe someone on here has bought something from these guys before and know who they are. They were always at various races selling shirts and stuff.
  2. Sorry, but it was 2012. Now we can say, we saw the future.

This was uncovered by the Gauteng provincial legislature portfolio committee on economic development, environment, agriculture, rural development and infrastructure development. According to the committee’s findings, there are currently no tourist facilities at the nature reserve. “The oxidation tank services at Kareekloof Resort are not in operation as the resort is closed and non-functional, and there is an incomplete pump station.” The committee said the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development received an allocation of R8m on infrastructure development for nature reserves and other existing infrastructure assets. The committee expressed its concerns over the number of incomplete projects at the nature reserve, despite money being allocated. The committee said the northern water supply line is complete but has not been commissioned yet owing to inadequate pressure for efficient water supply. It said that the southern waterline project completion report was released in 2018. However, the contractor failed to repair faults despite numerous warning letters. The committee also indicated that the project, which began in 2009, was still not complete. “The original budget was estimated at R8.6m and, to date, R31m has already been spent.” The committee says the Infrastructure Department would require an additional R49m to complete the project. The committee has since called on Gauteng Premier David Makhura to institute forensic investigations on Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve projects and submit a progress report by February. The Star
  5. Only asking R25M. https://www.property24.com/for-sale/harbour-island/gordons-bay/western-cape/7827/107915865
  6. There are now also ripples at the intersection of the R557 and R551. This is the intersection before you go around the back of Suikerbosrand. There are ripples on both sides of the intersection.
  7. Well that is a fail. Guess I will rather keep my entry fee for that other East Rand 100 race and rather go for a run on this day.
  8. I suppose that is the link from Discovery. All the Disocvery kit is supplid by ASG. Also, a complete name change for the event, no longer called Cycle Challenge.
  9. Chris Froome awarded 2011 Vuelta a Espana title https://www.bbc.com/sport/cycling/49026538 First British rider to win a grand tour. What was Bradley Wiggins knighted for again?
  10. If a company is in financial trouble, will they have the funds to pay lawyers to enforce a RoT?
  11. MET helmets no longer have a distributor in South Africa, so there are no longer any warranties or crash replacements available. I contacted the previous distributor via email, who simply replied with, "Please note that we do not do helmets any more". I have emailed MET directly but there has been no reply. So to anyone considering buying a new MET Helmet, please be aware of this.
  12. You sound like my wife. :-)
  13. Also, if you want to save the monthly fees for Zwift, look at "Maximum Trainer". Also has lots of training programs, but doesn't have the VR of Zwift.
  14. Take it with. Just get a box from a bike shop, pack it in there and put it in the container. Also depends if you are willing to wait a couple of weeks until your container arrives. If you want to ride as soon as you get there, then sell and buy one there.
  15. And the Ranger was stolen the night before.
  16. Nice report. You do realise that there was 15 minute timeout for the pitstop, so need to rush. But then, being the first team on the road is also an advantage.
  17. Or is it? Pretty much, but scale adds the perspective. Some stats:
