Looking to buy first BMX

Hey guys,

 

I'm looking to get my first bmx to ride mostly dirt jumps. I have a fairly low budget (R2000-R3000). I'd like to know if I can reasonably find something suitable in this range (second hand or new) that will meet my needs.

Rather get a dirt jumper mtb there are a few in the classifieds.

R2.5-R3k will get you a decent new entry-ish level known brand bike like a Mongoose, etc.

I'm thinking of selling mine actually if you'd like to check it out.

It is a GT, few years old but has perhaps 1 week's worth of riding on it so it's pretty much new hey.

Cool, will try to remember to take a few tonight.

It's a pretty stock GT BMX, can't remember the model, but has GT cranks, Kenda Kiniption tyres and GT wheels, etc etc.

Hopefully Mongoose has upped the game on the rear hubs they were using...otherwise, mine's held up okay.

I found the ad here on bikehub in the classifieds. Have spotted one or two other deals on gumtree & olx too.
