I'd like to know where all the small framed 130-160mm trail bikes of 2012-2013 disappeared to. The nomads, slayers, metas, tracers, sb6's and so on. That short burst of 26inch trail bikes that set the enduro bandwagon in motion before the 650b became a thing.

I suggest you pop into Recycles in Bellville. I might be mistaken, but I think there's still a green Tracer frame hanging in the shop.

Our trails are stating to look like someone emptied a box of smarties on an ant hill and the classifieds are flooded with nothing but front derailleurs. I'd say his chances are quite slim.

pft. You should try selling one of those 2x chain guides. Actually. Even a normal chain guide.

It's a 29er.

Throwing a new pike on there and a nice light wheelset tho. Tasty. You can even run a coil shock on there for those Alpine trips.

O ja you're right. It is a naainer. But still worth a good look, and probably get it for a steal.

Yup. You could build SUCH a trail beast out of one of those. A Pike. Some light wheels. An angleset. An Enduro Comp with personality. They have been known to crack tho. And with no local support. Not so sure hey. They are also not that light.

There are others in another shop. A Medium in Raw and a large in white if memory serves.

Haha. Two of my bikes that still have them on. They're a bit like bootleg jeans except I'd never wear those ever again.

JP says they are trying to bring the brand back to SA. Really hope they manage to. Such cool bikes.

love my bike and can't see myself going back to a marathon / xc bike.  I've been training on the road with my enduro bike for the last few weeks after I sent my roadbike down with a friend for CTCT.  I get speeds of 29km/hr on my 40km training route compared to 32km/hr on my roadbike and that's without locking out any shocks or forks and 2.3" tyres front and back pumped at 2 bar.  I doubt if i'd reach much over 30km/hr average with a top end 29" marathon bike.
