Silverback OR Giant?

2016 Giant XTC 27.5 bike with Deore components and rockshox recon Alu

 

OR 

 

Silverback Carbon Syncra with XT components also 27.5 and rox shox revolution

 

Looking at both of these the Silverback is a few years older and both are the same price. 

 

Decided on 27.5. Used to riding an old Trek mountain bike from 2005 and wanting to do light singletrack, fire roads, tar with slicks, all rounder really. Think coming from the 26er the 29 to me feels a bit larger and I do prefer smaller bikes that almost feel easier to control to me. I'm 1.79 so looking at M frame L in some makes. Any other suggestions welcome. Both bikes are around 15k used.

I'd go for the Silverback.

If the giant is new thats the one i would buy as the warranty will be valid.

 

If they both used then its either or
