santa cruz tallboy sizing

I am 6,4 and ride a XL Tallboy with a setback seat post and 120mm fork.I also ride a XXL Highball .I rode the XL and it was way to small for me The XXL TB is a big frame .The two bikes {xl tb XXl highball}are very similar in lenght but the highball has a more aggresive forward geometry that makes it a great climber .The XL TB is a great all-round bike  ,but sometimes i wonder if the xxL would not be better suited .I have ridden it for 4 years without any problems .When doing more trail riding the smaller TB frame really works well as a trail bike

SC have small sizing, and going by the website's geo http://www.santacruzbicycles.com/en/us/tallboy#geometry_size_chart I'd put you on an XXL. The XL is the same size (with a shorter reach) as my bike, and I'm 5'11" on a bad day. Pair it with a 50 mm stem and you'll be golden. Alternatively, if you went for XL, you'd want to put an 70/80mm stem on it. 

 

Gut feel - XXL (same as Greg Minnaar rides, and he's the same height as you) with a shorter than stock stem, because it deserves it.

Cool. Just his dh bike that is supersized then.
