Lil Ben has a set of the deeper sections (dunno the exact model!) and he's very happy with them. Not a great pic but they do look very bling. It's useful if your bike has lots of black, red and white .......

He won't let you touch his I don't think Shocked

Any one know what the wind is going to be like at SA Champs. I have HED STINGERS 60 and really battle with them in the wind.  Dont have other racing wheels so in a bit of a panic!!  Not that clued up on wheels - anyone know what the best climbing wheel is that is light.  My FSA wheels that came with the bike are heavy!!  I weigh 58kg.

If I'm you and only weigh 58kgs I would not mind heavy wheels in the wind. Something to "keep you grounded"

The Easton Ascent II's are excellent climbing wheels if you can get hold of a pair. I have a set as my race wheels and I love em to bits. They weigh around the 1.4kg mark but I think they have been superceded by the slightly heavier EA90's. You can pick a pair of the newer rims up for about R6K depending on where you shop.
