I'm not trying to stir, and I wouldn't know if it's a good buy, but what the hell is this all about?

 

I mean what does it add to have a concoction like that in the rear triangle? Surely it just makes the whole rear triangle less stiff...?

Friend of mine had one and yes they do look like that at the back.Nothing funny there.

Like I said, I don't know, it just looks odd. I was just trying to figure out what it adds to the design, apart from just looking odd.
