The Enduro is a great bike, but not really enough of an all rounder for entering in a marathon race.... I have ridden mine for 70 in a single ride... and if there wern't jumps and bumps in the ride, it would have been better on my Epic, or even my SS.

 

Take the camber at 40k - should be perfect for most things - don't worry about the wheels until you damage one - change the tires to something with decent sidewalls.

 

Spend the saving on a good helmet and comfortable kit :)

Thanks man! Was also thinking about the tires. I will replace it all in good time! Think I'll probably go tires then wheels. But it will happen

Hubbers thanks for all your advice! It had been most useful. Booked my Camber this morning and will be getting it on friday then I'm gonna put on some pics.

The other things you need are a professional fitting (should come free with the bike from a spez store imho) and some skills training - even at my advanced age and after nearly 30 years of riding an mtb I can still benefit from some more skills training,,,, (ok - I need bigger balls too )
