Service of Dura-Ace 9 speed shiffters

Good day. Is there anyone out there who can service Dura-Ace 9 speed shiffters ? Normal wear over time.

When using the small inside lever the longer front lever needs to be pushed to the outside to make the switch. Read about it and seems to be common problem with right hand Shimano shiffters.

These shifters are not serviceable at all, yes the problem you describe I have seen often on older shifters but there is unfortunately nothing that can be done to revive it. 

 

You used to be able to buy a replacement mechanism for them but this has long since been discontinued so the chances of finding one are slim.

 

Sorry to say but unless you manage to find one on Ebay or the like - it may be time for an upgrade to 11sp...

Best you can do is to remove the shifter from the bike, take off the hoods and flush liberally with the likes of Q20.  It helps if you can use an air gun to blow as well.  Keep activating the shifter while flushing.  Give them a good wash with soapy water, dry well and then lube with a decent spray lube - not the likes of Q20, something with a bit more body.
