They usually offer good value for money bikes in that price range. Also I recall Spez having an option or two in that category as well. And Giant has the Revel which could be an option? chris_meowzit Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 My first bike to get into MTB was a Silverback Sola 4, amazing bike for a starter bike and would have kept it for a good few years had I not come across my Scott which I got at a deal I could not resist. Silverback Sola 4 is more than a decent entry level bike, excellent frame and far better than the Titans imo and still well within your budget and still have money for decent helmet and a few other items. the bike is under 10k at my lbs. PM me for more details if you want? failing that, take some time to look for a 2nd hand bike. thats my 2c worth...
