Suggestions for a N+1 bike

I love my Santa Cruz TBLT. Fantastic trailbike and all rounder. But there are a few cycling trips I want to do for which it is not suited. I'm thinking dirt road and jeep-track touring and coastal/ beach rides with or without overnighting kit. It needs to be comfy for long hours in the saddle ( not race geo) and have a reasonably efficient fork (airspring because the load will vary).

 

So I'm thinking a boost axle Hardtail frame that can accomodate 29er or 27.5+ wheels and a 2x or maybe even 3x drivetrain. Option to fit a rack and panniers is essential....I could be persuaded to consider frame bags and seatpost carrier but I'm not good at travelling light.

 

Rocky Mountain Sherpa would be perfect and its full sus but way above my budget.
