Installing a raceface crank

Bomberman

Recommended Posts

Evening Hubbers.

Need some advice here, I busted up my crank this weekend and need to replace it. I got a atlas raceface crank but its seems the shaft might be to long.

The BB installed is a shimano 70 (I if I can remember correctly), and the old crank is a normal shimano 552.

Will It fit?

Thanks

Raceface crank generally fit into shimano bb. Might have to run spacers depending on frame. Just to take up the extra space.

you have a BB72 and the previous one was a Bb52( slightly lower spec) both will ft yout crank and as mentioned above just use the correct amount of spacers

Found the problem, its a downhill crank 83mm. Gonna need a lot of spacers.

You'll need a Howitzer BB or similar.

I think I would rather take it off and sell it, Would love to keep it. Now I need a extraction cap, anybody know where I can get one?
