Hi Guys

I have a set of Easton EA70's on my 2016 Merida Scultura 5000.  Is it worth upgrading if I have a budget of R10 000 - R12 000?  If it is worth it, what would you recommend?  Also, lightweight or deeper aero?

Currently looking at Token C22A,  American Classic Sprint 350 and Argent as well as Fulcrum 3

My local area is pretty flat with shorter steep climbs.

Thanks

Best wheelset i ever owned to be honest! would say get another set oof deeper wheels for racing iff you have to but they are on the aero side of ALU wheels already.

For your intended purpose I would go with some carbon mid sections in the 30-40mm range. They will add stiffness to your ride and are a good balance between weight and aero dynamics. You should be able to find a set within your budget especially if you go Chinese.

If you prefer aluminum, then something like the American Classic 420 Aero 3's are a solid option and should come in well within your budget.
