Awesome I was actually looking at those from chain reaction. Did you buy them here in CT? Great that I can set them up tubeless too! Going to go for these def! Thanks very much. Just let me know if you found them here in CT...

Wont use them on trail will just use them for the odd road race

I got these from (http://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/schwalbe-big-one-evo-osc-snakeskin-29x2.35-tl-easy-folding-517699) - very well priced and they also ship DHL - just gets hand delivered by SAPO. No-one in SA stocks these as far as I know, its a pretty bespoke tyre (actually meant for beach riding, but adapts very well on road).

Also make sure to get the snakeskin and not the liteskin, the puncture protection is worth the few watts it costs.

Maxxis  crossmark pumped to 3 BAR .I did numerous roadraces with these .Put a 40 tooth ring up front also if you can .The wear was minimal

I will order a larger chainring thanks for the reply!

Arisun Metro Troopers cheap as chips at R150 a tyre and roll great with good puncture protection. Excellent trekking tyre

Its been a few years :) Looking at these for the 947 on a MTB...still recommend? R170 from vbikes; not bad considering inflation etc.
