Paid R3295 including shipping, according to guys I talked with recently (who bought the same from them) it's only VAT and a R150 handling fee to DHL. - Thus a total of R 3906 to my door. (but will confirm the actual total paid next week to you)

 

PS - I phoned Evans and placed the order over the phone, they gave me an additional 10 pound discount. (They also do price match)

Ordered Thursday after 15:00 and it arrived 09:00 on Monday.

Total cost was R3925 (Vat on their invoice amount + R150 fee to DHL)

One very silly (and stupid) question... when order as you guys do, how is payment done? Via credit card/eft/cash? How do you pay the oversees people? Or is all paid this side upon delivery?

 

I have never bought over the net, only had a "present" brought in by family once and reimbursed them then

Pay via credit card or PayPal. If you do PayPal you can link it to your Fnb online banking. Absa I know charges 2% extra for overseas online transactions. There interest is the lowest though at 17% and Fnb at 19% but no extra charge at Fnb. Remember the funds only get converted on the day the transaction is banked by retailer. Once transaction goes through this side, that meaning if it shows up on transaction history then you can carry it over to your budget facility by calling your bank.
