In the market for new kicks - these have been the best fitting in store but given the toe-cap collapse issues with the last model I'm keen to hear back from peeps that have ridden them before parting with that kind of cash.

Hi Raemondo. I own a pair. Ridden in them quite a bit. No hassles. Love the fit of the new heal cup and the lightness of the shoe.

No toe cap issues so far ;)

I got a pair under warranty after my 2014 version toe box collapsed. By far the most comfortable Specialized carbon shoes I have ridden with.

Walking in them is a pain in the arse though(Portage on day 1 of W2W).

I wish. No it's going to sting like Sh!7 but my current kicks are pretty tired and the Phenom saddle I'm on is the best of the bunch I've tried, but think it could be better. Haven't been home to check but I'm ASSuming its a 143 where the ASSometer says i need a 155.

Just want to be as comfortable and transfer as many watts to the trail as possible for epic next year - there's plenty off the bike out to hurt you.

Well then I guess it's gonna be a 30t at the front to keep the walkies to a minimum

My ASSometer said I was borderline between 143 and 155. Was advised to go 143 and happy as a pig in poo so far!
