Haven't had time to follow this thread.  18 mm would be considered quite narrow these days.  Most of the carbon rims I see have an outer width of 25mm and inner wider than 18mm by 2-3mm

 

My carbon wheels won't be an issue, but I don't really wanna use them as an everyday training set.

 

The tyres seem to be good for now, so let's see how they fair over this month of heavy mileage.
