Quick question 

 

M7000 and M8000 chainrings are the same and can fit on either crank ? right ?

 

 

Now can M9000 chainrings fit on those cranks and vice versa i.e. can m7000 and m8000 chainrings fit an m9000 crank ?

No. Well, not for 1x at least. XTR is XTR and unique. The BCD is the same, but the bolt holes are different sizes.

 

+1 to the list of reasons I don't like Shimano.
