Pikey Posted January 1, 2017 Share Sad to see but the reality is this : On my outride this morning we ( trailer park & I) came across a young guy and his girlfriend that had just been bike jacked . This was close to the derelict old house . But on the path higher up from there that leads to the R59. Pretty close to klipriver drive. 2 Guys with a golf club and a knife . Just be vigilant out there . We unfortunately missed them by a few minutes. And we never saw them even though we came down the same route . I reckon they were laying low in the long grass and had seen us coming. Don't ride alone out,can happen to you. Got more chance in numbers even if that no is 2 . Pikey Posted January 14, 2017 Share Stolen: Scott Spark 920 2015When: 14 January 2017Where: Alberton, Gauteng Robbed by two males with knifes. Cycled on dirt road next to R59 high-way direction north. Just before Klipriver dr off ramp the dirt road turns west. Approx 300 meters behind houses is a small bush from were they exit. Took backpack and Fenix 3 HR and I phone as well. GUYS STAY AWAY FROM THIS AREA. NOT WORTH THE RISK !

Harryn Posted January 14, 2017 Share So Hectic. We used to ride the area every Sunday, but have not gone there for ages. Don't think we will again in light of this news, thanks for the heads up. Such a pity, we had the best of times there. $&@$en thieves are really messing with us hey. [emoji35]
