BikeHub site slow / none responsive

Over the last couple of days have picked up that the site is slow / non responsive for the first 10 – 20 seconds.

 

If I open a page it takes a good couple of seconds after before I scroll down. If I try to quickly I get a message that the site is not responding.

 

I do not have this with any other websites I frequent so do not think it is my system.

 

Does anyone else experience the above?

yes and cannot place an add or anything else.  It is hit and miss, just like this attempt.

Could you provide some further info:

- Any specific pages it occurs on or is worst on?

- Your operating system and Web Browser version?

This will help in identifying the cause.

having issues opening the notifications dialog.

click on the flag and only get the spinning wheel.
 

(already tried clearing cookies)

Problem seems to be on all the pages. It hangs and then clears itself after 20 s or so.

 

Am running Windows 7 and Explorer 11

It could be due to a SSL redirect. I also noticed that the certificate is valid from 30/12/2016, which is a few days ago. I noticed that it's a 2048bit RSA and SHA 256 cert, which is recommended, but can have a performance impact.

 

Just my 2c :-)

 

PS. It seems like all the content is not HTTPS either, or not presenting the same Certificate.
