Giant TCR advanced 2 2016... opinions?

Seriously considering getting this over the next few days... https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/tcr-advanced--2-2016 .

 

Does anyone have any real life experiences with this model? Any opinions good or bad would be appreciated.

I have a 2015. My mate Nic has the 2017. If you can get the 2017..... The color is spectacular. The difference apart from the colorway is the area around the seat tube/seat post. It looks neater on the 2016.

 

The 105 groupset is just great IMO. Yes it's not DI2 but it does the job just fine.

 

Negatives.

The stock wheels aren't great. They are heavy and and the spokes do pop. Or maybe it's coz I'm a fat ass. When you've got cash you'll be upgrading the wheels. But that is where they economize on this price point of bike.

The only other negative is that they aren't exactly boutique or rare. The TCR and the Tarmac have to be the most common bikes on the road.

Thanks... much appreciated! I'm 73kg so hopefully I won't have the same problem LOL! I'm assuming it's an upgrade from my Scott s20 aluminum frame with Alex rims, no name brand hubs.
