Animal9 Posted February 5, 2017 Share Hi AllI have a Cycleops indoor trainer. I currently use an iPad to connect to the bike. The iPad frequently stops working in the middle of the workout and it obviously drives me mad! When discussing this with my mates, they all say that I should change to a Android Samsung, which is what I want to do. Of course I still have my iPad, so I am looking for the cheapest Samsung that will be compatible with the Cycleops. Can someone help?

Morning...Perhaps have a look thru this thread, or post the question there. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/140625-online-racing-virtualtraining-cyclops/ For what it's worth, I been using an old windows 7 laptop and the desktop app for the last 2-3 years with my cycleops trainer and dont think I've ever had a workout failure. Sometimes old school is better / more stable
HdB Posted February 5, 2017 Share Well, I use a cheap Hisense android tablet, and it rarely crashes. Try to get one with android 5.0 or up though - if I understand correctly those allow you to store the videos on the memory card. Plus the newer ones usually have more RAM and better CPU. Newboy Posted February 5, 2017 Share I used to have a iPad and a Ant+ Cycleops trainer. I now have a Samsung tablet. I definitely have a lot less issues with the Samsung. It has got its own Ant+ so no dongle and no interference from my power meter. HdB
