Timing device for riding

Looking for a timing device that will fit between a direct mount stem and also won't rattle to death going down paarl,I saw alot of guys had them stuck on they're bikes,not sure what they had tho, what have you guys used and are using, want to start timing myself to see where I make mistakes on course and etc
