Changing from dual 2 single shocks

I have a Scott Reflex 25 lite complete.. and I have a Scott scale 50 frame no fork.

 

My question is, can I use the components from the "Relex" excluding the rear shock and put them onto the "Scale 50"????

 

 

 

I find the Reflex  heavy and I don't use the rear shock very often.

I don't see any reason why not.

 

However, I would imagine that the travel of the fork on the Reflex is probably longer than what the Scale came out with (80mm if I remember correctly). If the fork on the Reflex is 120mm, it could change your head angle significantly (100mm won't make a difference as the fork lengths are the same).

Thanks...Not sure of fork length, might have to get a new fork then.

Scale comes with a 100mm fork, reflex with 110mm.
