The riding in the area is some of the best on the country. Old style mountain biking - nice and rugged

That last photo, the one of the water crossing. Both my riding partner and myself managed to cycle through it, without touching down. The Marshall at the crossing was in   of us, he obviously expected a sudden stop, a huge splash, and a soaking wet rider to rise out of the river.... 

 

 

OK, will admit, it was more luck than skill, but we made it......
