  1. Sorry no I`m confused I saw the melted Stans Valor here:
  2. His brand new Stans Valor carbon rim melted in its moer in so be prepared and bring many bikes, transported by different means, you never know what hot pipe might melt your bike until it actually happens.
  3. Did you not know that COCT urged people to not wait for water to get warm before getting in the shower? I still want to see a woman get into that 1st stream of cold water of the shower during winter - my shower water takes like 3 mins to warm up.
  4. I wanna ride my tricycle this year: http://image.11street.my/editorImg/2016/08/23/51688367/2016082309272343761.jpeg
  5. HT bikes are for riders who enjoy getting their tails pomped hard.
  6. That kerb looks just about right to make a car flip over onto the cyclists cycle lane.
  7. I have increased the tension and the play is still there with new cleats. The connection between pedal and cleat is crap with Shimano pedals, this is more obvious when pedaling in circles like I think all cyclists should. This is actually a very bad drawback of Shimano/SPD pedals. People unknowingly adapt to pushing down more to reduce the vertical play.
  8. Nino uses Ritchey spd pedals, I think this is a better option than Shimano or Look but these are difficult to find.
  9. Can somebody please make us a proper MTB pedal?!?!?(&$@(#$&
  10. S-Tracks vs XT pedals: What I like about the S-Tracks: - lightweight - the connection with the cleat is much better than Shimano pedals, when I pull up in the pedal stroke the XTs have vertical play which annoys the crap out of me, causing me to not pedal in proper circles What I don`t like about S-Tracks: - about 5mm thicker both sides than the XTs so 5mm higher center of gravity when the weight is on the pedals and less clearance over obstacles - fragile compared to XTs I think these are the 2 best options for pedals yet both are still not great and I don`t know which 1 to recommend, look at my vs points and decide what is more important for you.
  11. If I was sponsored or if money is not a factor I would say hell yes give me a Cannondale mtb but I would never pay for 1 out of my own pocket.
  12. But in South Africa people can be forced to pay money for nothing, this is why the Guptas are so rich.
  13. What are you not smoking? it seems you need something to clear the head. You clearly do not understand the seriousness of the situation and the fact that more development = more water demand regardless of the implementation of your suggestions. You should go work for the DA.
  14. That is not the crux - It is demand, lack of planning, and less rain. Demand has increased because of population growth. The fact is currently there is not enough water for the demand, and the situation is getting worse. We use less and less per person but every month this saving gets overridden by more people coming into the area, as well as less rain every year. The tipping point was 2014. The Cape is facing a monumental disaster, money should be directed to helping people prepare for this, before new developments can continue. People are not prepared for what is happening, people can not afford to prepare for what is happening. When Windhoek was in the same situation they had the wisdom to stop development, it seems the Cape will have to learn the hard way.
  15. It is too late now anyway, the Cape`s water demand is 20% more than what the water system can provide in the short and medium term, and the only thing that is going to change this is an exodus. "Drastic" is what the consequences of this will be within the next 9 months. It is just ridiculous that development is continuing and even increasing when there is not enough water and the taps running dry is a very likely reality.
  16. It is drastic but drastic actions are required, and maybe this school should be exempt, but all water access infrastructure development should have been put on hold more than a year ago. We are facing a mass climate refugee exodus situation so there will be more than enough space in schools in the nearby future.
  17. That is a bit more than a little: http://25cognitivebiases.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/25-Cognitive-Biases-Bias13-Over-Optimism-Tendency.jpg
  18. If it only was as simple as that also. This is a case of too little too late. That problem on the horizon is expected to hit the Cape by February or March 2018. We are moving into an era of "how many months per year will there be dry taps?". For 2018 it is likely to be part of March, April, May and part of June.
  19. Under water restrictions level 14 people will go to jail for 6 months if they do not harvest their tears and feed it back into the water system.
  20. There is an easy solution to this problem - everyone must just buy the best value equipment.
  21. 19%. Like the 1 church that recommended that people should stop praying for rain in the summer and rather wait till June to pray for rain.
