Titanium Full Suspension

I am looking for a full suspension frame and came across this “flextail” full suspension from Waltley Titanium based …… in China.  I think there has been one of these for sale on the Hub previously, so there must be a few in SA.

The detail are as follows:

Cost landed: About USD 1,000

Claimed weight: 2.2 kg (probably will be a bit heavier)

Headset: Tapered

BB: Pressfit

Axle: 142 x 12

Rear Shock: 165 x 38 mm

Is it worth it and how do you think this bike will perform? Bobbing like a pogo stick?

Don’t hold back it is Friday.

I won't worry about the riding quality. The radiation will take you out before you hit the trails

I would buy one with pivots , I'll never trust any of this flexy stuff

There are some cool looking fullsus ti frames, just have to search a bit

I don't get the point of a full suspension Ti bike.

It makes sense on a hard tail or road bike (the so-called springiness etc)

And Ti isnt known for its light weight...

Met a guy a few years ago who had a flex Ti duel suspension bike. He said it felt like riding with a flat rear tire.

I am not sure which brand it was or details of the actual suspension set up.

Then that is a very nice looking frame!
