Eddie Stafford Posted April 7, 2017 Share I am looking for a full suspension frame and came across this “flextail” full suspension from Waltley Titanium based …… in China. I think there has been one of these for sale on the Hub previously, so there must be a few in SA. The detail are as follows: Cost landed: About USD 1,000Claimed weight: 2.2 kg (probably will be a bit heavier)Headset: TaperedBB: PressfitAxle: 142 x 12Rear Shock: 165 x 38 mm Is it worth it and how do you think this bike will perform? Bobbing like a pogo stick? Don’t hold back it is Friday.KH-00129450M-Model.pdf
BeegMig Posted April 7, 2017 Share I won't worry about the riding quality. The radiation will take you out before you hit the trails
BaGearA Posted April 7, 2017 Share I would buy one with pivots , I'll never trust any of this flexy stuff

Eddie Stafford Posted April 7, 2017 Share This is the ultimate one, but cost about USD 4,500! http://www.funkcycles.com/bikes/la-ruta/ Moots and Lynskey also make FS models with pivots, but they are heavy at about 2.9 kg.
splat Posted April 7, 2017 Share I don't get the point of a full suspension Ti bike.It makes sense on a hard tail or road bike (the so-called springiness etc)And Ti isnt known for its light weight...
ALLMTB Posted April 7, 2017 Share Look for reviews on Lynskey bikes.Proper full suspension with pivots, not softails... https://lynskeyperformance.com/mountain/full-suspension/

JacBrand Posted April 10, 2017 Share Met a guy a few years ago who had a flex Ti duel suspension bike. He said it felt like riding with a flat rear tire.I am not sure which brand it was or details of the actual suspension set up. Then that is a very nice looking frame!
