AC 225 Disc hubs 142x12 TA to 135x5QR conversion

Hi guys

 

I secured a good deal on a set AC wide lightning's and in my haste forgot to check the hub spacing  

I need to convert an American classic 225 rear hub from 142x12mm thru-axle to 135x5mm QR. The wheel needs to fit into a Giant Anthem frame which if I remember correctly is 135x5mm QR at the rear.

 

Please advise what is the best way to go about this?

You'll need a new axle. But that depends on your Anthem - if it's got removable dropouts you can make the frame 142 x 12, which will be a far beeter option.

It's a 2014 AnthemX1.. I'll need to check the drop outs, thanks
