The series has been a huge success thus far, with an overwhelming positive response from riders, their families and other supporters, as well as spectators in general.

The last event in the series of 4, before the Champs at the end of May, will take place at Rheboskloof, which has recently also hosted a VERY successful SA Cup event.

Racing thus far, has been tough, but exhilarating, and most riders feel that their fitness improved quite a bit, as a result.

Lets get the word out and contribute to another fun day of racing.

Think it would be quite similar, but as in the past with double-headers at the same venue, they do try and tweak it, if they can.

Uncle Brian (father to Mariska Strauss) is in charge of the courses / routes, etc and is very well respected in this capacity, and will go out of his way, as he always does, to try and offer the best possible options on the day.

Has anyone ridden the new course? Is it worth driving through to practice it or is it quite similar to the last one? No Hidden surprises?.

Hey Tim,

I was there a week or 2 back check it on Strava. https://www.strava.com/activities/946023338

There was no new technical bits or new climbs added, that all remains the same. It looks like they changed up the start a bit to alleviate some of the congestion it created there the last time. also rerouted some of the single track in the forest & around the vineyards. So no need to drive through if you were comfortable the last time around.

Thanks Milky,

It may be our time to shine, with the big boys, Donovan and Niel, away.
