Anybody know of MTB trails near ATKV Eiland Spa, past Tzaneen?

 

Are there trails in the Hans Merensky reserve?

There are some trails in the reserve and across the road from the camp next to the river - check the area in strava heat maps and you will see where exactly I have been there is probably more too that I didn't find and there are sure to be others who have ridden that area.

If you are happy to drive a bit contact Remi Delsouiller via Facebook - he probably knows the area best for gravity type stuff.

Jeeptrack in the reserve. But last time I was there was in 1999, so things might have changed

Sorry for only asking 3 years later on this post ... any news on trials/single track or routes close to ATKV Eiland Spa...have been there but could not really get a trial or route figured out in the reserve across from Eiland. If al goes well will spend some time there again next month...Any updates or changes, where to ride (MTB) and where not to ride as it will be a solo venture for me...I picked up there is a cycling club in Tzaneen which is a bit far ( 60k's out from Eiland ) of which shows a few routes around Tzaneen town and the local dam...
