Anybody that has done this before, how is the route?  Is it fast or does it have a lot of hills?

Apologies that the Polokwane cycle community leave you hanging like this. 

I live in Polokwane, but am sorry to say that I have never done this race before. I will be doing it for the first time this year.

Although I can try and give you an idea by just what my friends that have done the race before have told me.

They told me that it's a very flat and fast race. Definitely not a lot of hills (Polokwane in general is very flat).

Like I understand this is a qualifying race for Cape Town Cycle Challenge as well as for the 94.7 (I think).

In most of the qualifying races that they have done, they feel that this race is usually where they post their best times over this distance.

Sorry that I can't give you more info, but I hope this helped a bit.

Thank you WM17.  As far as I know there is a lot of hills towards Potgietersrus and looking at the map, it looks like we will be going that way.  Anyways, we will be on the tandem and we will just take it as it comes.

Did it 2 years back. Mostly flat and pretty fast. really enjoyed it. Will try do it this year

Flat...yes.....but there are those little climbs.......but not that serious.

Very possible to do a 35km/h+ avg on this one.
