If the damage was from an event, it should be an insurance claim. But don't get the Hub started on that.

Honestly, the carbon repairs are so good and in expensive these days, that probably the way to go. Sommer get a sexy custom spray job while it's being done

Yeah I think I'll go with the repairs. I went electronic shift back then because I couldn't get mechanical frames in this design and I was desperate for this colour so no custom paint for me.

 

Alex tells me they cut out the top tube and replace the hole thing so no major issue with future failure.

,Ouchies!! Every time my bike falls over I inspect all the carbon tubes with a 2 pound hammer to check for any cracks.
