Midrand/Samrand/Centurion road group

Hi all,

 

I'm looking to join or form a social road group in Midrand/Samrand/Centurion as I have not given the road bike much love this year (of my 2344km for the year so far, a grand total of 83km is on the road bike).

Anybody got anything on the go currently or interested in joining me?

That would be a nice initiative, and I would join most rides! I am based in Halfway Gardens. Maybe create a whatsapp group?

 

What routes and distances are you thinking of? Cause 99% of my rides head out Rooihuiskraal Rd/Old Joburg to Pta and back, which isn't the safest route for a bunch.

I like to vary my routes when solo, sometimes Pretoria, or out to the Cradle, or the East Rand, etc. I also ride the routes you mentioned and agree with not wanting to take a bunch on Old Jhb Road, Rooihuiskraal and some of the back routes to Pretoria isn't too bad.
