Meezo Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 this is exactly what happens. the advise I got was if it gets sticky you can pore water on it and it'll relax... yes i remember a friend/mechanic for one of the popular places in town, reckon to me they threw ice water on the levers of their team bikes at the WP's in the EPIC 2 years ago it may just mechanic talks, but its definitely plausible

milky4130 Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 leave it in the sun for a few minutes, and my guess is the problem will return, i've tried this too.without sanding anything i just cleaned(proper) out, it only took one ride in the blazing cape town sun... and the problem returned.I'm yet to have that elusive first ride in the blazing sun since the "fix"
