Martin PJ Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I tested the CWC inflator on a training ride. It got me home. Tire went flat the next day. So not a permanent solution. It was very quick to use, and I did shake thoroughly.
DJR Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 I have carried around the Pitsop version of this for years whenever I did a ride with my old classic that rides on tubbies. Especially on long lonely solo rides. Just for in case I puncture somewhere dodgy and need to get the hell out of there. But I never needed it. Then, at last years Eroics SA, team DJR had a terrible day of punctures, SIX altogether between the 3 of us! We used up all our spare tubes, we patched as best we could, but then the snakebites were not really patchable and David had a cut sidewall. As a last resort we ducktaped it and pumped the Pitstop into it. I was so demoralized, I did not expect much ........ it spewed sealant out of at least 5 holes ........ and then gradually sealed. We rode like hell and made it home! I'm now a firm believer!
