Riding the alps - recommendations?

Hey guys,

If I was to head to the Alps mid next year to go ride bikes for a couple of days, where would be a good central location to stay?

It needs to have fantastic singletrack close by and access to good roads for road bikes.

Also - what routes would I look for?

Stay in Le Bourg - d'Oisans and then you have access to road being Alp D'Huez, Glandon etc but then can travel 20min up to Les Deux Alpes and MTB yourself to death on their trails.
