scott 40 wheel upgrade

please assist ,

can I upgrade my wheels from a 26 to 27,5 to my scott aspect 40 (2012)

You'll only know for sure if you shove some 650b wheels in there and check.

 

Fork is normally more limiting than the frame. What fork is it?

I have a Scott Montana, which is the previous generation of the Aspect. I have put 27.5 wheels and they fit perfectly.

 

I am not sure if the Aspect is the exact same frame, but from casual glances, they appear to be.

 

As Mr Rosso mentioned, it is better to put in a set for complete certainty.
