Old proflex 852 project

Hi does anyone know where I can get hold of rear elastomer for my proflex 852 and suspension parts

Man, I wish I still had mine, used to race on it in the late 80s, early 90s. I learned then that 'it's not about the bike', I was still rubbish!

As I recall, the elstomers came in packs of three, soft, mid and hard, so you could adjust the 'suspension' to your liking. But no idea where you could buy them now.

A short Google search showed:

http://www.carst.co.za/elastomers.aspx

http://www.dupont.co.za/products-and-services/plastics-polymers-resins/thermoplastics/brands/hytrel-thermoplastic-elastomer.html

http://www.advancedpolymers.co.za/

A good place to start to make your own ''suspension'.

I have a Girwin Flex Stem on my old MB2 and used skateboard elastomers in that, I don't know if the hole diameter is the same as yours but might be worth a look?
