  1. Hi Everyone 2 quick questions; 1. What is the seat post diameter for an Alpina Frame? I assume it's something in the 26.x range? 2. Does anyone have a seat post clamp pin? I need the pin with a tab that will fit into the frame clamp notch. Thanks in advance.
  2. With the greatest respect to all parties involved, the law clearly states that.... "Subject to section 16(1) of the Council’s Public Open Spaces By-laws, published under Notice 831 in Provincial Gazette Extraordinary No. 179 dated 21 May 2004, no person may permit any dog to be in a public place unless it is kept on a leash and under control of a person." Mr Warren Knocker (dog owner), why was your pup not on a leash as required of you? Surely if this was the first public outing with the pup, he should have been on a leach for his own safety. You only have yourself to blame. Mr cyclist(s), while I don't know your side of the story, it sounds like a totally spineless move to injure an animal and not to stop to assess the situation. Don't be a bunt!!! I really hope you step up and apologies.
  3. Champion. Thank you for this link! :-)
  4. I have to agree with Dave on this. It doesn't make sense to spend money on the Momsen, when the Merida is perfectly capable and will be fairly inexpensive to upgrade. Assuming that you're going to ride the event for the challenge rather than race for a position, you could easily replace the components with Shimano 3x9 or 2x10 for less money and less effort than converting the Momsen into something you don't really want changed. Besides, the Merida is dual suspension and will be a much more comfortable ride than the hardtail Momsen. :-)
  5. Gosh, when Antra Cycles had such a good catalogue of brands.
  6. Can't remember the race (may have been nationals in PMB). Year 1992, I think.
  7. Ok cool. Glad you got sorted out so quickly. Mark is very helpful.
  8. Fantastic. Was the info I sent you correct? Did you chat with Mark or do I need to take down the details?
  9. Post more pictures of the bike. I'd love to see the drive side. The fork? Marzocchi XC400/500?
  10. LOL. You've missed the point. I wasn't asking how you acquired the bike, I was questioning your grammar.
  11. I think that you should throw it away and sell me that fork :-)
