Pretoria touring buddies

Greetings all, hoping to get some response here. I am a 54 year old overweight (10kg), slightly eccentric male (Mamil) looking for anyone from Pretoria interested in touring out and back, the more the merrier as there's safety in numbers.

 

At the moment looking at about 100km per day but building up to 200km over time, short (weekend) or longer tours, road/offroad/mixed. Pace probably around 20-25km/h road or 15-20km/h offroad. Camping or B&B accommodation, can do both.

Possible dates: weekend or long weekend (leave friday morning) just about any, longer-December after the 8th to January early.

 

Possible routes: east to loskop/dullstroom/witbank/lowveld, west to rustenburg/ventersdorp/potch/bloemhof, north to warmbad/thabazimbi/nylstroom/, south (bit more difficult because of JHB).

 

Costs: Camping style-R200 per day all in, B&B probably about R400 per day maybe higher.

 

Family entourages: Not so sure, my wife loathes camping and isn't really interested in following me around on a bicycle............up to you I suppose.
