I think you could also get a shimano claris 8spd derailer and it should have the same pull ratio and will look similar to crank.

EDIT : Quick Question, a Shimano 105 SS derailleur will work on a 11-28, 11 speed right?

Yes it will work fine. The short cage is good up to 28t.
