Right bicycle size for son

Hi All,

 

I am in no sense an active rider. Therefore I need your guys input and comments, please.

 

My son is turning 9 in January, he is 1.35m tall. He has outgrown his 20" bike. 

 

Now. Do I buy a 24" or should I be looking a 26" already?

My daughter is basically the same and she's on a small 26".Seatpost is low and a short stem so the bike will be good for at least a few years.

It really depends on how tall he is for his age.

 

My son is pretty tall for 9 (wears size 11-12) and still fits on his 24 inch.

My son is 9. I wanted to push him to a 24 inch until he rode his sister's xs 26 inch. Now he refuses to ride anything else other than her bike. I must say it fits him well
